We install and service the latest and most energy-efficient mini-split systems in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Labrador, and surrounding areas.
Our mini-split systems provide powerful cooling and heating with ENERGY STAR® efficiency. Stay toasty in the winters and cool summers, and not to mention major savings on your energy bill.
Installing a mini-split instead of an oil furnace or baseboard heaters can help you save money on your utility bill.
The main advantages of mini-splits are their small size and flexibility for heating and cooling individual rooms. Our models can have as many as four indoor units (for four zones or rooms) connected to one outdoor unit.
During the warm periods, mini-splits are able to reverse the process, and thus act like an AC unit. Air to air heat pumps can conveniently be switched to cooling mode during the summers.
Since mini-splits have no ducts, they avoid the energy losses associated with ductwork of central forced air systems. Duct losses can account for more than 30% of energy consumption from air conditioning.
Mini-splits, on average, last approximately 10 years. That’s a nice, long lifespan. But remember: the better care you give all of your home heating and cooling systems, the longer they will last.
